Presidentials Reading Room
To get this four-season porch in Maynard’s Presidentials neighborhood ready for spring, construction has continued steadily through the winter. The structural frame is now complete, and the perimeter walls will be infilled next. We can already imagine the large expanses of glazing that will form much of the facade, filling the space with natural light. It’s easy to picture reading a book during a rainstorm, watching snowflakes fall, or enjoying the fresh air with the windows

Crane Avenue
This Crane Avenue residence is in the final stages of transformation, as we wrap up a renovation designed for a multigenerational family. The home now features accessible, ground-floor living for the homeowners while the upper level is tailored for the young adults in the household. Welcoming decks and outdoor spaces reflect the family’s love for hosting and connecting with their backyard. This project celebrates the family’s deep roots in the community and their commitmen

In Process: Artists First
This addition to a 1920s grambrel-style cottage house adds studio space and an open bedroom suite for the two working artist residents. The gestural massing and the composition of opaque and transparent wall planes bias the interiors' relationships to greenspace and the horizon to the South and West, and away from the activity of nearby neighbors and car traffic to the North and East.
