The existing North gable structure has been preserved and will remain visible on the inside of the building and serves as a reminder of the barn’s history. A playful arrangement of windows, including the largest square window, which allows the occupant an abundant view to the back yard. By building the new wall outbound of the existing structure, we were able to place the window in front of the structure giving a glimpse of the old structure from the outside.
All windows and sliding doors have been installed.
Fascia and Rake Board Trim along with Vertical tongue and groove pine siding has begun installation over a cedar breather.
The basement’s interior rough framing is almost completed, and one of the existing Barn’s stone wall foundations remains standing. The wall was repointed and will remain visible to the occupants.
