Bolton Center, May 7th Update.

Preparations are underway to remove the sagging and condemned yellow barn, and raise in its place this rare Center Aisle barn https://www.antiquebarns.net/rarebarns/rare-17th-century-bank-barn/, currently undergoing timber-by-timber restoration in an off-site shop near its former Maine home. Salvaging the roundell window will help us memorialize our original barn, and we'll build a new cupola to mark the start of this site's next chapter.

In the animation above, our proposed Grand West Porch transforms the formerly anonymous flank of the Ebenezer Towne House with a façade scaled to address Bolton's Town Common. Our intent is to bring some measure of resolution and reciprocity to this juncture - where the early 19th century fabric of Bolton's National Register Town Center is abruptly truncated at the 21st century Common.
